Most Famhost applications require a two-way connection. We encrypt the data and confirm that the user is authorized to run the application. It is possible to be able to surf the Internet but not be able to run our application.
It is also possible to run our application
and not be able to go to browser and web
based applications.
Problems with known
Internet connectivity, wireless service, or Famhost
updates and scheduled maintenance services will be
updated here. This information is posted as a customer
courtesy only and is not a service level agreement or
other commitment. Any major scheduled services that
will affect critical services will be sent via email

Notice: Planned maintenance
window for Wednesday January 28th, 2009 at
00:00 CST (midnight on Tuesday night).
During this maintenance window we
will be replacing a Power Backup system that runs
our core networking equipment. This will affect all
Famhost customers for brief periods.
We will be taking advantage of this
maintenance window to reboot two core routers.These reboots should take 5 minutes or less.
However, it is possible that you may not be able to
log in for slightly longer.
Incoming mail, pen traffic, and
gps locations will continue to be accepted by us but
will not be delivered until after the maintenance is
complete. Outgoing paging may need to be resent.
This maintenance window is
scheduled to take approximately 30 minutes. Actual
outage time should be considerably less.
We apologize for any
inconvenience this outage may cause but this upgrade
is necessary in order to replace UPS batteries and
make a few other power related changes.
If your Internet Service Provider is
have trouble connecting to the Famhost server
farm, please call
800-658-1676 and we will provide you with
alternative access logins.

between zero and 100. Higher values indicate
faster and more reliable connections.
